For your first flash, I am very impressed. Great Audio, Smooth Animations, Great art, Original idea.
I have to give you mad props!
This is a good start if anything. If anything, you need to really work on your art style. It seems too "square". What I mean is that it looks like a very young person drew it in paint. Granted some of it was good looking, but taking the time to truly evolve your art style into something much more detailed and fuller will definitely make your animations much cleaner and prettier. I'm not sure what your method of drawing is but I suggest maybe investing some money into this if you can if not invest the time and effort to make it work if you can't spend money.
Sound was very clean. No clipping in the music or sound effects. Everything seemed to be the same audio level. Didn't have any problems there. Always a plus.
For the animation I found it to be very smooth. Very little to no chopping or clipping. Good job there. I liked the idea of the story, but had very little plot to it. You should look into making it into something that will allow the audience to connect with. Give the flash a sense of emotion and engage your audience with a mood instead of just pure combat. You see too many combat style animations these days. It just feels like I'm watching another damn Dragonball Z animation.
Overall, I see potential and say keep pushing forward. Develop your story. Add emotion besides fighting. Take the time to make your art evolve into something much fuller as it has potential. I thin its a start. Not the greatest, not the best. I say it was worth it if you learned something from the experience.
Thanks for the feedback dude. I do plan on adding an intrigueing storyline that I have planned out and it will be full of emotion, trust me on that one. My art is "square"? Ha I can see what you mean. If you read my quote under my profile pic it says "I'm not an artist by any means" and it's true. I'm really not. Not sure if I ever will be. But I will try harder to add more detail/depth to my characters next time.
I thought this flash was very smooth for being done in a day. Easy to follow, not like there was anything to really follow here anyways. I got a good laugh out of it. Fan of the Apocalypse Please series so just made me ramped for more again.
Not bad for a days work. Clean, smooth, and a good laugh.
If anything, this is not the best I've seen. I will note though that this does deserve some praise. I love the art style, very bright and easily distinguishable colors. Smooth animations, but slow. That is something I though had a huge impact on the animation. They looks flawless, but were awfully slow. I took in consideration that this was probably one of your first try's at Flash after your animation class. I will say, it is worthy of praise. Better then I could ever animate, hence why I stick to music :P
Good job, hope to see some more from you.
Great story-line. I easily connected with the characters and it flowed well. I have to say this is very well done. Quite easily one of my favorite things on newgrounds.
Keep up the good work! :D
Loved it, good quality drawings, and good joke!
Very well done
I enjoyed this quite a lot. The music choice was very well chosen as I've heard all of the songs except for the first one, but I'm actually tempted to look it up. Very clean transitions and Movements. Fluent, Clear message, Very easily attachment to the characters.
you got my 5!
Back at ya
I need your Zip Code in order for you to receive a review >_>
Hamster no no
Great Animation...but the hamster man....damn
Extremely well done!
Flawless in my opinion!
I loved the art quality on most of the animations and it was so very well done without the "Running into things" jokes.
Wanted to ask something though. I managed to find Atomic Bottle's Tails animation at the end after the Penguin clicker. Did you intend it to be like that? Either way twas good to see that the Tail's Doll isn't gone forever!
